Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been increased by Rs.195.50 across India, making the costs above Rs.2,000 in major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru. This happens due to the rising global energy prices and supply disruptions linked to the West Asia crisis. In Delhi, the price of a 19-kg commercial cylinder has risen to Rs.2,078.50 from Rs.1,883 earlier, while rates now stand at around Rs.2,161 in Bengaluru, Rs.2,246 in Chennai, and about Rs.2,031 in Mumbai. This is the second price increase in a month, which results in putting more cost on businesses like restaurants, hotels, and small shops that use a lot of commercial LPG, while household LPG prices are the same since the last change.
From 1 February 2026, the price of commercial LPG cylinders has been increased by Rs.49. This hike applies to 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders used by hotels, restaurants, and other businesses in the food and hospitality sectors. The price rise for commercial cylinders may increase operating costs for businesses, while domestic users continue to enjoy the same rates.
